First of all, I love Etsy. It’s a great community for artists, crafters, and other creative types to market and sell their wares, and I think that’s great. That being said, they’ve got some weeeeird monkey stuff for sale. All week we are going to feature fun, fascinating and creepy monkey products for the good people of Etsy – get ready for it!
If it wasn’t for the internet, I would have no idea where to get a realistic, life-size gorilla skull. Sure, it’s only a replica, but who really cares?

So… this product is called Mandy Monkey. There’s no description, but it’s somewhat squarish, furry, and has a squished monkey on it. What the hell is it? Any ideas?
These aren’t your regular sea monkeys – these are Sea Monkeys on Mars! What does that mean? That means that, um… Your little sea monkeys, instead of their normal castle, getto live in a Martian-themed castle. And… That’s about it, I think.
The runaway winner for coolest monkey tattoo during the MonkeyADay Monkey Tattoo Week is this sweet Monkey Ear Tattoo. Her ear is pierced right where the monkey’s ear is, so if she wears a second earring it looks like the monkey is wearing it, too. That is freaking awesome!
Maybe I’m being juvenile, but this one makes me laugh.
Alas, poor monkey! That’s an excellent tattoo, one that Shakespeare himself would be proud of.
Among the many “belly button butt” tattoos, this was our favorite. Mostly because it has two monkeys. Yeah, we’re easy.
